Unique 1959 Parilla High-cam 175CC Perfect!! Moto Parilla designed several different motorcycle engines over the years, but the company is most famous for the "High-Cam" motor. High-cam Parilla motorcycles are far and away the most collectable of the production Padilla’s. The high-cam engine was first put into production in 1953 as a 175cc and ended its production in the 60's upgraded to a 250cc. The 175cc High Cam as it became known was raced in the Italian racing class for “production racers." A total of 591 models were produced. Last models was last used in the in the famous Moto giro d'italia before being the subject of a total restoration and until recently has enjoyed a very quiet life in a private collection near Milan. This motorcycle is just about as rare as they come – last one we had for sale was over 25 years ago. A true work of art in motion and would make a superb addition to any serious collection, or as a centrepiece for a reception area. Above all would be a most welcome entry in this years Moto giro d'italia 2015. The frame number 410xxx shows that this is a 175cc four-stroke High Cam Sport Speciale "Super Speedster" (Sport Special in England) 1959-1961.
